Service Description

1st appointment for accessing McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release -,work on scar tissue caused by surgery, injury, inflammation or infection. Remodels the connective tissues to encourage blood flow, lymphatic drainage, appearance and adhesions. The therapist takes a history of how the scar came about, any feelings you have about the scar, any limitations caused by the build up of connective tissue etc. The MSTR technique does not take more than 15 mins of hands on treatment time for 1 scar - often less - but full clinical history needs to be documented. Follow up sessions may be required. Often 1 session is all that needed. If further sessions are needed, a maximum of 5 spaced apart by at least a week each will normally suffice.
